Josh currently serves as the First Sergeant for the 140th Medical Group at Buckley AFB, Colorado. He is happiest when motivating Airmen to reach new limits. His distinguished career began on Active Duty in 2009 before transitioning to the Colorado Air National Guard in 2017. Josh electrifies the communities that embrace him. He was inspired by the geographically challenging environment of Cannon AFB, New Mexico. He trained and organized multisport events to draw out Airmen and promote fitness. Since then, he has competed in more than 120 competitive events throughout the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including multiple RAGBRAIs with the AFCT, competing nationally for the Colorado State University (CSU) Triathlon team, and AF Marathon teams. He brings a diverse background to the board as a rider and/or previous Team Leader on three regional teams. In his civilian career, Josh creates one-on-one connections with veterans, employers, and other resources to help them thrive. In addition to leading Airmen and helping veterans, he is a coach to athletes around him. Josh is not simply a sports community influence; he is a force for good in the sports community.
